Mathew Laurence

I'm a Songwriter & Producer in Acoustic / RnB / Pop / Rock / Soul and Folk styles. I Started out in the late 80's to 90's playing guitar with my original band which enjoyed some airplay and touring with bands like The Cult, Silverchair, You Am I among others.. While recording i worked with an Engineer from sessions for David Bowie's "Space Odyssey" in the 70's. I wished i could do that, so i started trying my hand at producing.
Over 15 years i worked my way up from a 8 track home studio to my place here where i have all the gear i dreamt of back then ! (but of course i could always use some more *lol) I've produced numerous Aus bands receiving airplay, being unearthed and ranking in the J charts. Kyra Simone a RnB artist from the UK introduced me to soul and got me into the Rnb Thing. Recently i've also been working on live productions with artists Sting, Patti Smith, Paul Kelly, Old Man River, Kate Ceberano with the SSO & Katie Noonan in 2008. It's been great to get a breath of fresh air from studio work and some live perspective. Recent Projects / Credits include. 2008 - Ava Torch #1 J Charts, 2007 - Grand Finalist position in the World Music International Songwriting Festival, Best Song Award from ABC Music Awards 2006.

Based in the UK, Nathaniel visits Everland for his Australian productions & teams up with Mathew on some productions.
